This website is dedicated to the original CSI show set in Las VegasVegas, Nevada, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Launched in 2000 and created by Anthony E. Zuiker, CSI is crime/drama television series that follows the Graveyard Shift CSIs of the Las Vegas Crime Lab. Headed by the enigmatic Gil Grissom, portrayed by William Petersen, these CSIs tackle case after case, each with its own distinct and unique feel.
By 2002, CSI had 30 to 40 million viewers a week, a success that encouraged CBS to create a franchise, starting with CSI: Miami and continuing to CSI: New York in 2004. Now, as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is in its ninth season, it has become one of the world's most watched shows and has one of the largest and most devoted fanbases of any show ever created.
